Convivial Comics is about entertaining people beyond the pages of art, design, and games. The term "convivial" is a reference, not to the stories or depictions of themes, but to the feeling of community our products can entail among others. The mission then is to give people of all backgrounds a disporting outlet through interactive media. It is the goal of Convivial Comics to nourish growth through ideas, not just the materials itself.
John Rosas Ramirez started drawing comics in class about funny situations that happened throughout the day. It was from his classmates' enjoyment of the sketches that encouraged him to create Convivial Comics in 2014. Since then he has furthered his art, made several online videos, and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
